At PawAngel.pet, your privacy and personal choices are deeply respected. If you wish to delete your account, memorials, candles, tributes, or any personal information stored on our platform, you may submit a formal deletion request using the instructions below.

We handle all data removal requests with care, confidentiality, and full compliance with the GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.

✨ What Can Be Deleted?

  • Your user account and login details
  • All memorials you created
  • Uploaded photos, videos, and tribute stories
  • Candles you lit or messages you posted
  • Subscription or donation history (non-financial data only)
  • Comments, likes, and community interactions

Please note: We cannot delete data that belongs to **other users**, such as memorials or comments created by someone else.

📝 How to Request Deletion

For security and identity verification, all deletion requests must be sent from the email address associated with your PawAngel account.

To request deletion, send an email to:

  • Your full name (optional)
  • The email address tied to your PawAngel account
  • Whether you want to delete:
    • Your entire account
    • Only a specific memorial
    • Specific photos, candles, or posts

⏳ How Long Does It Take?

Once we receive your request, we will process it within 30 days as required by GDPR. Most requests are completed much sooner — usually within a few days.

🔒 How Your Data Is Handled

When your data is deleted:

  • Your account is permanently removed from our system
  • All memorials and uploads you created are erased
  • Your email and login information are deleted from our database
  • We stop all communication to your email address

Backup systems may retain encrypted, inaccessible copies for a limited time due to security protocols, but these are automatically purged and never used for any purpose.
