Tater Tot was sweet, lively, and affectionate. She was social and loved both her cagemate and her humans. She showed affection by popcorning when happy and by nuzzling into hands. Her personality was concentrated joy—all the best guinea pig traits in a small, curly, portable package.
⭐ Special Memory
Tater Tot had a special trick: she could 'dance' for a blueberry. If you held a blueberry just above her head and moved it in a small circle, she would stand on her hind legs and turn in a circle to follow it, making happy little squeaks. She would do three or four rotations before you gave her the treat. It was the cutest thing—a tiny, curly guinea pig pirouetting for her favorite fruit. We have many videos of 'The Blueberry Ballet.'

Tater Tot was a petite Teddy guinea pig (with curly, wiry fur), and she lived up to her name. She was small, round, and utterly delightful. Her fur felt like a soft Brillo pad. She was energetic but in a compact way—her zoomies were quick, tight circles. Her popcorns were vertical hops. She loved to be held and would sit contentedly in cupped hands, purring. She was the 'snack-sized' joy of our family. Her small size made her passing feel especially poignant—such a huge personality in such a tiny, furry package.
