S'mores was charismatic, affectionate, and had a playful streak. She was vocal with a distinctive 'wheep' sound. She was social and loved both human and guinea pig company. She showed affection by popcorning when happy and by gentle nibbling on fingers. Her personality was well-rounded and engaging—the ideal companion who could be both a comforting presence and a source of entertainment.

⭐ Special Memory

S'mores had a hilarious reaction to the sound of a plastic bag crinkling. It didn't mean food to her (we didn't store veggies in bags near her). Instead, she seemed to think it was a challenge. She would stand up on her hind legs, wheek loudly at the bag, and then do a series of rapid, aggressive popcorns. It was as if the bag had insulted her. We could never figure out why this specific sound triggered her 'war dance,' but it never failed to make us laugh. We have a video titled 'S'mores vs. The Evil Bag.'

Celebrating a guinea pig whose tricolor fur resembled the perfect campfire treat, and whose personality was a delightful mix of sweetness and playful fire.

S'mores was a masterpiece of guinea pig coloring: chocolate brown at the nose, creamy white in the middle, and toasted marshmallow tan on the rear. Her personality matched her looks. She had a sweet, cuddly side, especially in the evenings when she enjoyed lap time. But she also had a spark of mischief, often being the one to tip over her food bowl if she didn't like the selection or to start a game of chase with her cagemate. She was a perfect balance. Her cage, once a scene of both calm cuddles and tiny dramas, is now just a quiet enclosure.
