❤️ Nature & Soul
Delta was observant, majestic, and possessed a wild dignity. He learned his feeding schedule and would wait by the front glass. He communicated through subtle body language. He showed trust by climbing onto us and by sleeping in open areas of his tank. His personality was a blend of caution and quiet curiosity—a wild spirit who accepted our care while always maintaining his essential, wild nature.
⭐ Special Memory
The first time Delta successfully caught a live fish in his pool was a breathtaking display of aquatic predation. He watched from his branch, completely still. Then, in a movement that was more slide than jump, he entered the water almost without a splash. There was a quick swirl, and he emerged back on his perch, the fish in his jaws. He ate it with powerful, deliberate bites. It was a raw, primal display of his capabilities as an amphibious hunter.
🐾 Favorite Things
Pool diving, fastidious water habits, tail balancing, fish catching
🌈 Pet Remembrance Anniversary Reminders
📅 Should we gently remind you by email before your pet’s passing anniversary? We know these dates can be tender. If you wish, we can send you a gentle email reminder before your pet’s passing anniversary.
No Reminder

A tribute to a water dragon whose life was intertwined with water, whose graceful form was the heart of a lush, humid world.

Delta was the confluence of land and water. He spent hours perched motionless over his pool, then would dive in with fluid grace to swim or defecate (always in the water, fastidiously). His green scales were like wet leaves. When handled, his grip was strong and his tail provided perfect balance. He shed in pieces, often leaving skin floating in his water. The filter hums for an empty tank now, and the still water reflects nothing but plants, missing the elegant dragon who was its living centerpiece.
