Aurora's Iridescent Glow
Life Details
Celebrating a crested gecko whose colors fired up to a breathtaking display of oranges and reds, a tiny, living aurora in a misty forest.
Aurora was a living light show. Normally a muted brown and orange, when 'fired up' under the right conditions (temperature, mood, time of day), she would transform. Her oranges would become neon, her patterns sharp and defined, her flanks glowing with fiery hues. She was a bold jumper and loved to be in the middle of activity. Her dropped tail made her look like a tiny, perpetually surprised frog. Watching her colors shift was a daily magic trick. The night light in her tank now just illuminates leaves, missing the vibrant, color-changing sprite who brought it to life.
