❤️ Nature & Soul
Rune was curious, active, and gentle. He was not a sit-still snake; he wanted to move and see things. He was intelligent, learning the layout of rooms quickly. He showed trust by being calm when handled, even when moving swiftly. His personality was engaging and inquisitive—a perfect snake for someone who wanted an interactive, visual pet. He made you see your own home from a new, slithering perspective.
⭐ Special Memory
Rune had a hilarious habit of 'posing' in his water dish after drinking. He would drape himself over the edges in a perfectly symmetrical way, often with his head resting on the rim, looking like a posed art photograph. He did this so often we started a photo series called 'Rune in Water.' It was a quirky, artistic behavior that showed his comfort and his unique sense of... snake aesthetics?
🐾 Favorite Things
Bookshelf climbing, water dish posing, tongue flicking, curtain rod exploring

No Reminder

A tribute to a corn snake whose pattern was a cryptic message, whose swift, curious explorations were lessons in fearless curiosity.

Rune's pattern wasn't just beautiful; it looked like ancient writing—saddles of burgundy outlined in black on a grey background. He was a swift, active explorer when out of his enclosure, flicking his tongue constantly to map his surroundings. He was an excellent climber and loved to investigate bookshelves and curtain rods. His feeding response was enthusiastic but gentle. He was a snake who seemed genuinely interested in the world. The bookshelf feels static now, missing the swift, colorful explorer who used to navigate its heights.
