Whisper was gentle, delicate, and deeply trusting once she knew you. She was not a bold explorer, preferring the safety of her known environment. She was clean and predictable. She showed affection in subtle ways: licking a finger, crawling into a cupped hand to sleep. Her personality was soft and sweet—a companion who asked for little and gave a great deal of quiet joy in return.

⭐ Special Memory

Whisper had a beautiful, complete shed every time. The skin would come off in one perfect piece, like a tiny, ghostly sock puppet. We would save these sheds in a little box. Laying them out in order, from smallest to largest, was a visual record of her growth and life with us. That box of delicate, translucent skins is now a precious, if bittersweet, archive of her existence.

Whisper earned her name from the soft, chirping sounds she would make, usually when exploring or when gently handled. A 'Mack Snow' morph, her coloring was a beautiful, subtle grey and white. She was a creature of perfect routine: warm hide, cool hide, food, water. Her movements were deliberate and silent. Her tail, plump and healthy, was a testament to her contentment. The quiet of her corner of the room now has a different quality—it's the quiet of absence, not the quiet of a small, satisfied life being lived.
