Summit was observant, dignified, and possessed a quiet confidence. He wasn't overly cuddly, but showed affection through proximity and trust, allowing handling and climbing on us. He was intelligent, learning routines quickly. He showed his mood through posture and beard color. His personality was that of a benevolent monarch—calm, assured, and pleasantly aware of his own importance.

⭐ Special Memory

Summit had a hilarious rivalry with the Roomba. When the vacuum would run, he would puff up his beard to jet black, do push-ups on his basking rock, and head-bob aggressively at the machine from behind the safety of his glass. It was a weekly display of dragon bravado against an oblivious opponent. We have videos of this 'epic battle' that never fail to make us laugh. It showcased his territorial nature and his complete lack of fear for the mechanical intruder.

Remembering a bearded dragon who sought the highest point in any room, a king surveying his domain with calm, sun-warmed eyes.

Summit lived by a simple rule: ascend. In his tank, it was his basking platform. On the couch, it was the back cushion. On a person, it was a shoulder. He sought elevation with quiet determination. From his perch, he would observe the household with regal calm, turning his head to follow activity. His morning bask was a sacred ritual he performed with focused dedication. His beard was usually a calm tan, darkening only during baths. The highest cushion on the couch now stays fluffed, missing its scaly, contemplative occupant.
