Moss's Camouflaged Kingdom
Life Details
Honoring a green anole whose color-changing skin was a daily wonder, a tiny, bright-eyed emperor of a leafy domain.
Moss was a living mood ring. Stressed? Brown. Content? Green. Courting or challenging? Vibrant green with a red dewlap flare. He was a master of his small jungle, claiming the highest leaf as his throne. His hunting technique was a slow stalk followed by a lightning-quick tongue snap. He shed his skin in tiny pieces, often eating them. His sudden, jerky head-bobs were a constant source of amusement. The terrarium is still a lush green oasis, but it feels like a stage after the play has ended, missing its charismatic, color-changing star.
