❤️ Nature & Soul
Jade was full of personality for a creature his size. He was territorial, feisty, and curious. He would watch TV, following movement on the screen. He showed trust by eating from tweezers and allowing gentle touches when he was calm. His personality was vibrant and immediate—he lived entirely in the present moment, a lesson in mindfulness from a tiny lizard.
⭐ Special Memory
The most special moment was introducing a female anole (briefly, for breeding). Jade's behavior transformed instantly. He turned his brightest green, extended his dewlap to its full, brilliant red extent, and performed an elaborate series of head-bobs and push-ups. It was a display of pure, natural instinct, a dramatic performance we'd only read about. While the pairing was temporary, witnessing that raw, colorful courtship ritual was a breathtaking glimpse into the wild heart of our tiny pet.
🐾 Favorite Things
Fruit flies, TV watching, dewlap displays, high perches
🌈 Pet Remembrance Anniversary Reminders
📅 Should we gently remind you by email before your pet’s passing anniversary? We know these dates can be tender. If you wish, we can send you a gentle email reminder before your pet’s passing anniversary.
No Reminder

A tribute to a green anole whose vibrant transformations were a daily magic show, a tiny, bright-eyed acrobat in a personal jungle.

Jade was color and motion. One moment a brown lump on a branch, the next a vibrant green flag waving his dewlap in challenge or courtship. He was a fierce hunter of fruit flies, stalking them with intense focus. His world was one of climbing, jumping, and displaying. He had favorite perches for basking and for sleeping. His sudden, bobbing push-ups were a source of endless amusement. The small terrarium, still thriving with plants, feels like an empty theater, its main actor gone after the final, colorful bow.
