Honey Bun's Sweet Rolls

Honey Bun, a golden rabbit with a rounded, compact body, was sweetness in a fluffy package. Her color was the golden brown of baked goods, and her shape—rounded, with a compact body—indeed resembled a sweet roll. But her true sweetness was in her nature: gentle, affectionate, deeply peaceful. She had a particular way of moving—not quick hops, but slow, deliberate movements that made her seem thoughtful. Her favorite spot was on a soft cushion where she could curl into a perfect circle, indeed looking like a bun on a plate. Our home feels less sweet without her presence. We miss our living pastry, our furry reminder that sweetness comes in many forms.
