Hazelnut's Rich Flavor

Hazelnut, a mixed brown rabbit with hints of gray and black, was richness and complexity. Her color was the mixed brown of hazelnuts, and her personality held that same satisfying depth. She was curious, intelligent, with clear preferences and a gentle will. She wasn't demanding, but she knew what she liked and would politely persist until she got it (within reason). She had a particular way of exploring new things: slow, deliberate, thorough. Her favorite spot was near bookshelves, as if she appreciated the quiet company of stories. Our home feels less rich without her complex presence. We miss our living hazelnut, our reminder that the most satisfying things often have layers.
