Honey, a golden-colored Lionhead with a magnificent mane, was like bottled sunshine. Her fur held shades of gold, amber, and cream that seemed to glow in certain lights. But her true brightness was in her spirit: cheerful, curious, warm. She had a particular bounce to her hop that made her seem perpetually happy. On gray winter days, we would say she was our personal sunbeam. Her favorite spot was in a sunbeam on the carpet, where she would stretch out, her golden fur seeming to absorb and amplify the light. Now, our home feels dimmer, missing that living light source. We miss our golden girl, our furry reminder that light can come in small, hopping packages.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Honey was optimism with a fluffy mane. She woke each day with what seemed like genuine enthusiasm for whatever it might bring. She was curious about everything, investigating new objects with her nose and whiskers twitching madly. She was social, wanting to be where the action was, but not demanding about it. She learned her name quickly and would come hopping when called, especially if accompanied by the crinkle of a treat bag. She had a playful side, enjoying games like pushing a ball or running through tunnels. Despite her bright energy, she was incredibly gentle, taking treats with delicate lips and enjoying petting that would make her close her eyes in bliss. Her personality was like honey itself: sweet, golden, spreading warmth wherever it goes.
⭐ Special Memory
Honey's cheerful nature was most infectious during what we called her 'Morning Zoomies.' Every morning after breakfast, she would have a burst of energy. She would run laps around the living room, leap over her toys, sometimes even do 'binkies'—joyful jumps with twists in the air. This wasn't frantic energy
🐾 Favorite Things
Honey loved sunbeams where her golden fur would glow, cheerful bounces in her hop, social interactions, and anything that matched her bright, sunny personality.
