❤️ Nature & Soul
Rio was proud, lively, and people-oriented. He enjoyed attention and would perform his fancy footwork on command. He was sensitive to ride but forgiving of errors. His personality was like Latin music—rhythmic, joyful, and impossible to ignore. He didn't just walk
⭐ Special Memory
Rio's hooves on pavement sounded like castanets - his distinctive rapid tapping creating natural music that matched his smooth rhythmic gait, turning every ride into a built-in dance celebration.
🐾 Favorite Things
Rio loved showing off his smooth rhythmic gait, his castanet-like hoof sounds on pavement, Spanish music in his stall, and making every ride feel like natural dancing.

Remembering a Paso Fino whose smooth, rhythmic gait and proud carriage made every ride a dancing celebration.
Rio was rhythm incarnate. A golden dun Paso Fino, his unique four-beat lateral gait was so smooth you could carry a full glass of water without spilling a drop. He had a proud head carriage and a naturally collected frame. Riding him felt like dancing—the rhythm was built in. He had a playful spirit and loved to show off his gait for visitors. The driveway misses the distinctive, rapid tapping of his hooves on pavement, a sound like castanets. His stall, once filled with the sound of Spanish music we'd play for him, is silent.
