❤️ Nature & Soul
Meadow was gentle, patient, and unflappable. Nothing spooked her—not bikes, balls, or barking dogs. She seemed to understand her role as ambassador to the next generation of horse lovers. She was affectionate, nudging pockets for carrot sticks. Her personality was pure sweetness. She was the gateway horse for countless children, their first experience of that magical bond between human and equine.
⭐ Special Memory
The memory that makes me smile is of the annual 'Pony Birthday Party.' For years, we'd invite the neighborhood kids, and Meadow would give rides in her flower-decorated cart. One year, there were 15 children, and she patiently gave each one a turn, posing for pictures, accepting pats. At the end, covered in glitter and sticky handprints, she lay down in the grass and let the children sit around her like a storybook illustration. She was the center of their world, and she loved every minute.
🐾 Favorite Things
Meadow loved giving backyard rides to neighborhood children, her clip-clop hooves on pavement, being the center of pony parties, and creating first equine loves for generations.

No Reminder

Remembering a palomino pony whose golden coat and sweet disposition made her every child's first love.

Meadow was happiness in pony form. A palomino Welsh pony with a cream-colored coat and a white mane, she was small enough for toddlers yet sturdy enough for older kids. She had a smooth, steady walk and a patient soul. She taught generations of neighborhood children to ride, standing perfectly still for mounting and carefully navigating backyards. Her tack was miniature and well-worn. The neighborhood is quieter now, missing the clip-clop of her hooves on the pavement during evening rides, the chorus of children's laughter that always surrounded her.
