❤️ Nature & Soul
Majesty was calm, patient, and profoundly gentle. He was aware of his size and was careful with smaller creatures. Children could walk under his belly without fear. He was stoic, enduring cold and hard work without complaint. His personality was like a mountain—immense, immovable, and awe-inspiring, yet peaceful and life-giving at its base. He commanded respect not through force, but through the sheer nobility of his being.
⭐ Special Memory
The most moving memory is of a wedding on a rainy day. The bride was distressed about her outdoor carriage ride. Majesty stood patiently as we decorated the carriage with flowers and waterproof covers. When the bride appeared, he lowered his massive head gently for her to pat. As he pulled the carriage through the drizzle, he stepped with extra care, his feathers muddy but his head high. The photos show the bride beaming under an umbrella, pulled by this magnificent, gentle giant. He turned a potential disaster into a magical, storybook moment.
🐾 Favorite Things
Majesty loved his deep rumbling nicker that vibrated in chests, pulling carriages with willing strength, being careful with smaller creatures, and lending majestic dignity to every event.

No Reminder

Remembering a Shire draft horse whose immense power was matched only by his gentle soul, a true king of the pasture.

Majesty was a living monument. A Shire standing over 18 hands, his feathered hooves were the size of dinner plates, his neck a muscular arch. When he walked, the ground trembled. Yet his eyes were pools of kindness. He was our gentle giant for carriage weddings and historical reenactments, his presence lending dignity to any event. He had a deep, rumbling nicker that vibrated in your chest. The stable feels fragile without his monumental presence, the hay bales lasting longer, the silence where his deep breaths once filled the air. The carriage sits idle, missing his willing strength in the traces.
