❤️ Nature & Soul
Cocoa was sweet-natured, calm, and surprisingly communicative. She'd circle feet when happy or expecting treats. She enjoyed being groomed and would grind her teeth softly in contentment (purring). She was litter-trained and fastidious about her grooming. Her personality was the essence of gentle domesticity—a creature designed for companionship, offering quiet affection and adorable antics in equal measure.
⭐ Special Memory
The most heartwarming memory is of her bonding with our elderly dog. The dog, mostly blind, would lie still, and Cocoa would cautiously approach, eventually grooming the dog's ears and settling beside her. An unlikely friendship formed between predator and prey species, based on mutual warmth and gentle respect. It was a beautiful lesson in interspecies peace, orchestrated by a brave little rabbit with a trusting heart.
🐾 Favorite Things
Hay, pellets, lap cuddles, grooming sessions, binkies jumps
🌈 Pet Remembrance Anniversary Reminders

1 day before

Remembering a Holland Lop rabbit whose floppy ears and gentle thumps created a rhythm of cozy contentment in our home.

Cocoa was a velvet loaf with ears. A chocolate-colored Holland Lop, she spent her days in a state of serene relaxation, often flopped over on her side in a dramatic display of trust. Her excitement was expressed through 'binkies'—sudden jumps and twists in the air. Her displeasure was a sharp, warning thump of a hind leg. The living room is missing the soft rustle of hay being pulled from her rack, the gentle *crunch-crunch* of pellets, and the warm weight of her settling on our laps for evening pets. Her empty pen still has a few strands of her soft fur caught in the carpet.
