Thor lived at one speed: exhilarating. He was a tornado of play, a thunderclap of barks at the doorbell, a lightning bolt chasing a ball. But after the storm of his energy passed, he would collapse into a puddle of pure cuddle, his heartbeat slowing against ours. He taught us to embrace the wild, joyful chaos of life, knowing that deep peace always follows. This memorial is for his vibrant, electric spirit and the profound quiet he found in our arms.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Thor was a beautiful, wild spirit in a domestic setting. He was energetic, vocal, and fiercely independent, with a strong stubborn streak. He was escape-artist clever and motivated by wanderlust. Yet, he was also incredibly affectionate with his inner circle, offering dramatic greetings and leaning his full weight against those he loved. He was a walking contradiction-wild and devoted, loud and tender.
⭐ Special Memory
Thor's most epic adventure was the 'Great Snow Escape.' After a heavy snowfall, he tunneled under the backyard fence. We found him two hours later at the local elementary school, leading a pack of delighted children on a sled-pulling expedition around the playground. He wasn't running away; he was just organizing his own fun and including others.
🐾 Favorite Things
Thor loved pulling. He had a special harness and would pull a sled or a child's wagon with immense pride. He adored vocalizing, howling along to music or sirens with dramatic flair. His favorite thing was, after a long run, coming inside and flopping directly on top of his favorite person for a full-body, cooling-down cuddle.
