📋 A Gentle Beginning
Petal had a soft curiosity that guided her through life, exploring everything with quiet fascination.

She sniffed new objects carefully, tilted her head at unfamiliar sounds, and studied the world with thoughtful eyes. She enjoyed curling up beside us during quiet moments, purring gently as if sharing secrets. Her gentle exploration brought warmth to our home.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Petal was delicate beauty with purpose—a Birman mix with the breed's signature white gloves, silky coat, and stunning blue eyes. True to her name, she had a gentle, almost fragile way of moving through the world, but this belied a strong curiosity and intelligence. She investigated everything with careful respect: sniffing but not biting, touching with velvet paws but not scratching, observing but not startling. She was particularly drawn to textures, spending minutes feeling different fabrics with her paws. She had a soft, melodic voice she used mostly when she discovered something interesting, as if calling us to come see. She was affectionate but not demanding, offering her companionship as a quiet gift.
⭐ Special Memory
Petal's curiosity was most beautifully displayed in what we called 'The Texture Tour.' Whenever we brought home shopping bags, she wouldn't investigate the contents first. Instead, she would feel each bag with her paws—paper, plastic, cloth—comparing the textures. She had clear preferences: crinkly paper was exciting, smooth plastic was interesting, soft cloth was comforting. We started saving different textured materials for her to explore. Watching her carefully test each surface with her white-gloved paws, her blue eyes focused in concentration, was like watching a scientist conduct delicate experiments. Her gentle approach reminded us that curiosity doesn't have to be destructive to be profound.
🐾 Favorite Things
Petal loved playing with silk ribbons that she could bat gently without damaging. She was fascinated by the feel of different floor surfaces—hardwood, tile, carpet—and would walk slowly across them, feeling the differences. Her favorite thing was sleeping on a cashmere sweater she claimed as her own, her silky fur blending with the fabric, looking like an extension of the garment, her white gloves tucked neatly beneath her as she dreamed.
