📋 A Gentle Beginning
Callie invented her own games, often leaving us laughing as we tried to figure out what she was playing.
📝 Moments & Memories
Use this space to share your companion’s story in your own words. You may write about their personality, favorite moments, the bond you shared, or anything you feel captures who they were and what they meant to you. There is no right or wrong way to write this - take your time and speak from the heart.
Callie chased invisible shapes, darted from room to room, and hid behind furniture only to pop out again. She entertained herself effortlessly. Yet she also enjoyed quiet moments, curling beside us when her energy settled. Her mix of mystery and affection made her wonderfully unique. Thinking of her still brightens our day.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Callie was a stunning calico with distinct patches of black, orange, and white that seemed arranged by an artist. She had the strong-willed, independent personality typical of calicos, but with a playful twist. She didn't just play with toys; she created entire worlds of play that only she could see. She would chase invisible things, have intense conversations with wall corners, and develop elaborate routines that followed some internal logic we could never quite decipher. She was affectionate on her own terms, often choosing the most inopportune moments (like when we were on an important call) to demand attention, but her quirky personality made us love her all the more.
⭐ Special Memory
Callie's most special memory was her 'Invisible Friend' game. She would chase something only she could see around the house, pouncing, batting, and chirping at empty air, completely absorbed in her private game. Sometimes she would look at us as if to say 'Can't you see it?' then continue her pursuit. The best was when she would finally 'catch' her invisible prey and carry it triumphantly to her bed, where she would carefully 'eat' it before settling down for a nap, satisfied with her successful hunt.
🐾 Favorite Things
Callie loved toys that made unexpected movements, keeping her guessing. She enjoyed hiding in paper bags and popping out unexpectedly. Her favorite thing was curling up on a warm laptop while it was in use, claiming it as her own personal heated bed, and purring loudly as if to say the work could wait—cuddle time was more important.
