📋 A Gentle Beginning
Fiona loved resting near soft candlelight, her fur glowing gently as she settled into the warm ambiance.

Fiona blinked slowly as the room dimmed, curling on cushions with graceful ease. She listened to our quiet conversations as if she understood every word. Those evenings felt intimate and soothing because of her presence. Remembering her in that warm light brings a soft ache and a lot of gratitude.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Fiona was a miniature masterpiece—the smallest recognized cat breed, with a ticked sepia coat, large eyes, and delicate features that belied her big personality. She was often described as 'the cat in a kitten's body,' maintaining her playful, energetic nature throughout her life. But her true magic emerged in the evenings. As daylight faded and we lit candles or turned on soft lamps, she would transform from an energetic explorer to a serene companion. She would find the perfect spot where light and shadow met and settle there, her coat taking on a warm glow. She was incredibly affectionate, often climbing onto laps to be petted while purring with surprising volume for her tiny size.
⭐ Special Memory
Fiona had a candlelit ritual we called 'The Twilight Watch.' As the last light faded, she would position herself between a candle and a wall, watching her enlarged shadow. She would move slowly, deliberately, watching her shadow mimic her movements. Sometimes she would reach a paw toward the flame (safely distant), watching the shadow paw grow enormous on the wall. It wasn't play; it was study—a tiny creature contemplating the nature of light and form. We would sit with him in the quiet dark, watching her watch her shadow, sharing a moment that felt ancient and peaceful.
🐾 Favorite Things
Fiona loved chasing small shadows created by candlelight. She enjoyed soft fabrics and would knead them gently. Her favorite thing was curling up in a tiny basket near the candlelight, her small body glowing in the warm light as she watched the shadows dance, her purr a soft counterpoint to the flickering flame.
