📋 A Gentle Beginning
Cashew believed every box held untold secrets, exploring them with enthusiasm no matter how small.

Cashew jumped into boxes before we could even unpack them, poking his head out with wide-eyed delight. He loved hiding inside and waiting for us to peek in, greeting us with an excited chirp. After playtime, he stretched across our legs and purred softly. Boxes still remind us of his joyful curiosity and the fun he brought into everyday moments.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Cashew was instantly recognizable by his unique curled-back ears that gave him a perpetually surprised and curious expression. He was a medium-haired orange tabby with a sweet, friendly disposition that matched his unusual ears. He approached life with boundless curiosity, treating every day as an adventure waiting to happen. He was particularly fascinated by containers of all kinds: boxes, bags, baskets, drawers. He wasn't destructive with them—he was an archaeologist of empty spaces, investigating each one as if it might contain ancient treasures. He was vocal with a variety of chirps and trills, each conveying different levels of excitement. Despite his energetic nature, he was incredibly cuddly and would demand lap time after his explorations.
⭐ Special Memory
Cashew's box obsession reached its peak with what we called 'The Great Box Fort Construction.' One day, we had several shipping boxes of different sizes. Cashew watched us unpack, then proceeded to rearrange them himself. Over several hours, he nudged, pushed, and climbed until he had created a connected series of boxes with entry and exit holes. He then spent the entire day moving through his fort, popping out of different holes, chirping proudly. We left his fort up for a week, and it became his favorite playground. Watching an animal find such profound joy in simple cardboard taught us about creativity and play.
🐾 Favorite Things
Cashew loved crinkle toys that made noise when batted around. He was fascinated by the movement of ceiling fans and would watch them for long periods. His favorite thing was sleeping in a box that was slightly too small, his curled ears just visible over the edge, a picture of contented coziness.
