📋 A Gentle Beginning
Pebble had a quirky way of hopping sideways when excited, a habit that brought laughter into our home almost daily.

Pebble pounced on toys with incredible enthusiasm, hopping in little arcs that made us smile every time. His lively personality was matched by moments of deep affection where he curled tightly against our chest. He had a way of reminding us to enjoy the silly, joyful side of life. His absence is felt most during quiet hours when we expect his playful hops to appear again.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Pebble was a tailless wonder—a sturdy, round Manx with a rabbit-like hop and a perpetually cheerful expression. His lack of tail gave him a unique, bouncing gait that was endlessly entertaining to watch. He was incredibly playful well into adulthood, treating every day as an opportunity for fun. He was also surprisingly dog-like in his behavior: he would follow us from room to room, play fetch with small toys, and even come when called. Despite his silly appearance and behavior, he was intelligent and could solve puzzle feeders with ease. He had a loud, chirping purr that he used constantly, whether he was eating, playing, or just observing the household. His joy was infectious, his energy boundless.
⭐ Special Memory
Pebble's signature move was the 'Sideways Hop of Joy.' Whenever he was particularly excited—seeing his favorite toy, spotting a bird, or greeting us at the door—he would arch his back, puff up slightly, and hop sideways in little arcs, often making a soft 'brrrp' sound. It looked like a cartoon cat getting ready for a fight, but it was purely play. The funniest part was when he would do this to his own reflection in the glass door, hopping back and forth with himself. We have countless videos of this behavior that never fail to lift our spirits, even now.
🐾 Favorite Things
Pebble was obsessed with small, bouncy balls and would play fetch with them for surprising lengths of time. He loved climbing to high places despite his unconventional body shape and would often be found on top of bookshelves. His favorite thing was being held like a football under one arm while we did chores around the house, purring loudly as he surveyed his domain from his mobile perch.
