📋 A Gentle Beginning
Blossom greeted each morning with gentle stretches and quiet curiosity, making our early hours feel peaceful and warm.

Blossom wandered slowly through the house at sunrise, rubbing her face against door frames as she welcomed the day. She sat near us while we prepared breakfast, purring softly as if sharing the moment. Her calm approach to mornings helped us ease into the day with more intention and gratitude. Memories of those gentle hours are some of our favorites.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Blossom was a living mosaic—a beautiful tortoiseshell with patches of black, orange, and cream that seemed to shift in the morning light. She had the distinctive 'tortitude' personality: strong-willed, intelligent, and fiercely loyal to her chosen people. But her willfulness manifested in the most charming ways, particularly in her morning routines, which she followed with religious devotion. She was not a cat to be picked up or cuddled without permission, but on her own terms, she was incredibly affectionate. She had a variety of vocalizations for different needs, from a demanding meow for breakfast to a soft trill for greeting. Her morning rituals taught us to start each day with mindfulness and presence.
⭐ Special Memory
Blossom's morning routine was so precise we could set our clocks by it. 6:30 AM: gentle paw taps on our cheeks. 6:35: stretch on the bedroom rug. 6:40: window sill bird watching. 6:50: lead us to the kitchen. 7:00: sit politely by food bowl. But the most special part was what came after breakfast: she would jump onto the windowsill in the sunroom, find the first sunbeam of the day, and perform what we called her 'Sun Salutation'—a series of slow, yoga-like stretches ending in a perfect loaf position facing the rising sun. Watching her greet the day with such deliberate grace inspired us to begin our own days with more intention.
🐾 Favorite Things
Blossom loved batting at hanging plants but never damaged them—just gentle taps. She was fascinated by the steam from our morning tea or coffee and would sit nearby to watch it rise. Her favorite thing was sleeping on a specific silk cushion by the eastern window, positioned to catch the first light, her tortoiseshell patches glowing like stained glass.
