She possessed an extraordinary combination of wild beauty and affectionate nature. She was incredibly intelligent, learning to open doors and solve puzzle toys with ease. Her energy levels were high, and she needed plenty of space to run and play, which made our large, fenced backyard her paradise. Despite her exotic looks and energetic nature, she was surprisingly gentle with family members and loved nothing more than curling up for evening cuddles after a day of adventure. Her connection to the natural world was palpable—she wasn't just a pet living in nature; she was part of it, moving through the garden like a small, elegant predator at peace.
⭐ Special Memory
Fern's most special autumn memory was how she would create elaborate games with the falling leaves. She didn't just jump in leaf piles—she would stalk individual leaves as they fell, catch them mid-air, and arrange them in patterns on the ground. One October afternoon, we found her sitting proudly in the center of a perfect circle of golden maple leaves she had arranged herself, as if she had created her own autumnal throne.
