Azure was a little piece of summer sky. A blue budgie, he was a beautiful cool blue color. He was a typical, cheerful budgie—chatty, active, and social. He loved his mirror, his bell, and interacting with his human flock. His simple, happy-go-lucky personality and bright color were a daily delight. His cage now feels empty of both color and cheerful sound.
❤️ Nature & Soul
Azure was friendly, curious, and active. He was a typical happy budgie, chirping and chattering throughout the day. He was social and enjoyed the company of people, often coming to the front of the cage to interact. He was playful with his toys, especially bells and mirrors. He was not hand-tame but was comfortable with people near his cage. His personality was bright and uncomplicated.
⭐ Special Memory
Azure learned to mimic the sound of the microwave beep perfectly. Whenever the actual microwave beeped, he would immediately chime in with his imitation, creating a funny echo effect in the kitchen. It became a running joke, and we'd say the microwave was talking to him.
🐾 Favorite Things
Azure loved swinging on his cuttlebone holder (more than using the cuttlebone). He enjoyed climbing the bars of his cage like a little acrobat. His favorite thing was a spray of millet; he would cling to it and eat with single-minded determination.
