Jet was a streak of midnight. A Black Lory, his feathers were a deep, iridescent black that shimmered with hints of green and purple in the light. He was incredibly active and playful, with a brush-tipped tongue adapted for nectar. He was messy, loud at times, and utterly captivating. His dark beauty and zany personality were unique. His passing left a void of both dramatic color and chaotic, joyful energy.

Jet was energetic, inquisitive, and highly social. He had a fast metabolism and was almost constantly in motion when awake. He was playful and enjoyed interactive toys, especially ones that could be manipulated with his unique tongue. He could be loud with sharp calls when excited. He formed strong bonds and could be quite affectionate, though his play could be rough due to his energy. He required a specialized nectar diet and was naturally messy.

⭐ Special Memory

Jet had a hilarious relationship with water. He didn't just bathe; he performed aquatic acrobatics. In his large bathing dish, he would dunk his head, flap his wings, roll onto his back, and slide around, all while making gleeful, gurgling sounds. It was a full-body, joyous water festival that happened almost daily and was impossible to watch without smiling.
