Their personality was one of miniature warmth—small creatures that proved size doesn't determine impact, that even the tiniest lives can bring color and joy.

The most charming memory is watching them in their nano tank on my office desk. During stressful work, I'd watch the tiny orange school move through miniature plants. Their small-scale world was a perfect escape, a complete ecosystem in five gallons, proof that wonder comes in all sizes.

Flicker was an ember tetra, a tiny fish with warm orange-red coloration that glowed like an ember in our planted nano tank. He was barely half an inch but packed with color. The school looked like moving orange lights. The nano tank has lost its warmth now, missing their tiny glowing presence, the miniature school movements, and the small-scale beauty they provided.
