Drift was graceful, observant, and built for vertical spaces. He preferred tall plants he could swim through. He was an excellent parent when breeding. His personality was one of vertical grace—a creature adapted for flooded forests, finding similar structure in our planted tank, moving through vertical space with purpose.
⭐ Special Memory
The most incredible memory is watching him clean a leaf for eggs. He and his mate would meticulously clean a broad leaf, then lay eggs in perfect rows. They'd fan the eggs with their fins and guard them fiercely. This dedicated parenting was nature's care in action.

Honoring an angelfish whose triangular shape and graceful movements made him our aquarium's living stained glass.

Drift was a silver angelfish with long, flowing fins that made him look like a living triangle of silver. He moved with slow, deliberate grace through tall plants. His parenting of fry on leaves was incredible to watch. The tall tank has lost its living art now, missing his triangular silhouette against plants, the graceful fin movements, and the vertical presence he provided.
