❤️ Nature & Soul
Zen lived up to his name—calm, observant, and peaceful. He seemed content in his small world, exploring every inch with curiosity but without stress. He'd watch me work, occasionally coming to the front glass as if checking on me. His personality was one of aquatic mindfulness—a creature completely present in his moment, teaching humans to do the same.
⭐ Special Memory
The most peaceful memory is during stressful work deadlines. I'd watch Zen drift among his floating plants, completely at ease. His calm presence would remind me to breathe, to focus on one thing at a time. He wasn't just a pet; he was a living stress-relief tool and mindfulness reminder.
🐾 Favorite Things
Floating plants, bloodworms, peaceful observation

Celebrating a floating betta whose peaceful existence in a nano tank taught mindfulness and simplicity.
Zen lived in a carefully designed 5-gallon nano tank, a plakat betta with short fins that allowed active swimming. He'd drift peacefully among floating plants, occasionally bursting into activity before returning to stillness. His small tank on my desk was a living meditation. The desk feels empty now, missing his peaceful presence during work hours, the gentle movements that reminded me to breathe, and the simple beauty of his contained world.
